May 12, 2008: Lo and behold, here’s a “Declarations of Independents” article at GameCyte.
I’m working at my computer once again, having taken a long hard look at the game and what needs to be done to get it out the door and into your hands. This is the sixth and final year of production. Yes, I’ve had my share of shooting myself in the foot; compare the original artwork to the current game screens; not to mention that the total puzzle count has swelled to more than triple that of the original game. Also, I’ve had my share of Director and Flash programming updates and then that infamous mysterious memory crash of 2007. And, of course, I’ve moved to Canada, been married and divorced, and then moved back from Canada. What have I done right?
The game, that’s what. It looks great. It plays great. It is a worthy successor to the Errand.
Nonetheless,
there are still lots of loose ends, and heaven forbid, the time off has allowed me to re-think some features and tighten some nuts and bolts. At this late date, should I rush the game out the door? Or should I give it the final polish it deserves? I believe the answer is clear. And in your heart of hearts, I know you agree. So I’m setting my sights on September to ship it to your doorstep.

Here, my 1987 The Fool’s Errand got a nod at the 2008 Computer Game Developer’s Conference.
And Executor — no expiration date! — you can play the original Mac versions of The Fool’s Errand, At the Carnival, and 3 in Three on Windows XP for as long as they all shall live. For instructions, click here.
